Taking bookings for 2026
Podcasts · Live streams · Live shopping · Our own shows
We produce shows.
Video podcasts, live-streamed events, live shopping and our own formats. All of it made the same way: a format, a running order, cameras cut live and somebody whose job is the audience at home. From our own studio in Cumbria, and on location UK-wide.

What we do
Four kinds of show.
One way of making them.
A podcast, a streamed conference and a live shopping slot are the same discipline in three shapes. Three of them we make for clients. The fourth we make for ourselves, which is how we know the first three work.
Video podcasts
Format, run order, three-camera record, edit, artwork and everything that comes after. You turn up and talk; we handle the rest of it.
- Format development and series planning
- Three-camera studio record with live switching
- Remote and hybrid guests
- Edit, sound mix and grade
- Titles, artwork and show branding
- Distribution to audio and video platforms
- Social cutdowns from every episode
Series, one-offs and always-on shows
Live streaming
From a single-camera webinar to a multi-camera show with graphics, playback and a proper gallery. Streamed from our studio, your venue, or wherever the event actually is.
- Multi-camera live production and vision mixing
- Graphics, lower thirds, playback and captions
- Conferences, launches, AGMs and award nights
- YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook and private platforms
- Remote contributors and live interviews
- Recording, highlights and post-event edits
- Rehearsal and full technical run-through
One-off events and returning series
Live shopping
Live selling shows for brands: a host, a running order, products on camera and a stream built to sell rather than to sit on a channel. Recurring slots, not one-off broadcasts.
- Format and host for the slot
- Products shot live, on camera
- Recurring weekly or monthly streams
- TikTok Shop and other live selling platforms
- Sold worldwide, produced from our studio

Our own shows
The formats we make for ourselves. Santa Live and Cinderella Live are ticketed live pantomime. Sound Check, Film Live, Games Vault and Founders are free to view. They are where we try things before we sell them.

How it works
Plan it. Make it. Put it out.
The same three stages whether it is a twelve-part series or a single afternoon going out live.
01
Plan the show
Who it is for, what it is called, how long it runs and how often. We build the format, the run order and the look before anyone books a camera.
02
Make it
Studio or location, crewed and directed. Multi-camera, proper sound, guests looked after. Live goes out; recorded comes back for edit.
03
Put it out
Edit, mix, artwork, captions and distribution — plus the clips your marketing team actually needs for the weeks in between.
Our shows
We do not just make them
for other people.
Six formats of our own. Two are ticketed live pantomimes, performed on green screen inside a virtual world we build in Unreal Engine. Four are free to watch. They are where we find out what a live show can do before we put it in a proposal.
Ticketed · seasonal
A live Christmas show streamed into homes, schools and hospital wards. Performed inside a virtual set, so it can go places a stage cannot. Has its own home at santalive.tv.
Ticketed · returning 2027
A full live pantomime with the cast on green screen and the whole world of the show rendered around them in Unreal Engine.
Sound Check
Free to watch · in development
Live music, giving a platform to the best new talent coming through. Next back into production.
Film Live
Free to watch · on YouTube
The filmmaking channel. How films actually get made, for people making them on no money. Back in production soon.
Games Vault
Free to watch · on YouTube
Games, played and talked about properly. Episodes are up and watchable.
Founders
Free to watch · in development
Business conversations with the people who actually started something.
The studio
We have somewhere to put the cameras.
Lake District Film Studios is our own facility on the historic Crofton Hall estate, fifteen minutes from Carlisle. Two purpose-built studios, a three-camera podcast suite, a green screen infinity cove, a green room and a production office — so a shoot day starts in the room rather than in a van.

Recent work
What it looks like on the day.
Our own studio, rigged and ready. Every shoot and stream starts in a room that is already set up for it.

Common questions
The things people ask first.
Where are you based, and do you travel?
Our studio is at Crofton Hall near Thursby, fifteen minutes west of Carlisle. We record and stream on location across the UK as well, so the show does not have to come to us.
Do we have to come to the studio to record a podcast?
No. Most series are recorded in the studio because it is quicker and looks better, but we also record on location, and we bring in remote guests over the internet when they cannot be in the room.
Can you stream to our own platform?
Yes. We stream to YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook and Vimeo, to private and gated platforms, and to any service that accepts a standard RTMP feed. We can also send to several destinations at once.
Do you supply crew and equipment?
Yes, both. Cameras, lighting, sound and vision mixing come as part of the booking, and we crew up from experienced local people rather than importing a team from three hours away.
What does it cost?
It depends on the format, the number of episodes and whether it is live. Tell us what you are making and roughly when, and we will come back with an approach and a price rather than a rate card that fits nobody.
About
Twenty years of making things that go out.
NEXI Media is led by producer and director Ben Phoenix, who has been making films and television since 2005 and built his first green screen studio from an empty shell in 2012. That studio worked with national broadcasters and commercial clients for years.
NEXI applies the same thinking to podcasts and live streaming: a show with a format, a run order and a crew who have done it before — not a webcam pointed at a meeting.
